Cabaret

Ever seen ‘Stand-Up Rugby Theatre’? Didn’t think so.

It’s been quietly taking the rugby world by storm and we’re so excited to be hosting the Welsh premiere of the show at Cabaret. It’s ‘Bloody Great’ says Ugo Monye.

With his own rugby story, the evening is created and performed by British comic actor Stewart Wright (Doc Martin, Smack the Pony, Bridget Jones’ Diary), who brings characters and moments from international rugby sensationally to life in the form of a quiz.

Benoit Kirby, the evening’s sensational French referee, also delights with his extraordinary range of talents – including juggling, bagpipes, singing and the occasional yellow card.

This unique evening features Cliff Morgan, Jim Telfer, Rassie Erasmus, Bill McLaren and more.

Tickets are £12 per person and teams of 2-6 people can take part. If possible, please book all of your team's tickets under one booking so we can gauge the number of teams taking part on the night. Diolch!

"The many faces and voices of rugby all in one room, seriously good"

Lewis Ludlow, Gloucester and England

"Heartily recommended"

Robert Kitson, The Guardian’s rugby union correspondent

"Pure unadulterated rugby delight"
